This change was called civil right. these rights promoted the right for equality for all people it gave freedom to individuals who were once discriminated by their culture i.e their race thanks to many social activist such as Dr Martin Luther King this would soon change. Dr Martin Luther King believed that through Peaceful methods these restrictions could correct and establish a virtuous system there were few that agreed with Dr King others didn't. Many groups such as The Black Panthers, The Nation of Islam and The Black Nationalist movement that used were burt force and bestiality to try and stop the racial segregation. Many hotels school Restaurants and even public bathrooms were separated. Allowing african americans to use only certain sections of rooms. Greatfully the civil rights movement set a part a reform to abolish public and private acts of racial discrimination against african americans this happened between 1954 to 1986 particularly in southern united states, sometimes in is referred as the second reconstruction era.
